ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
Additional drivers must be 23+ years old and present drivers
license and passport. Up to two additional drivers are allowed.
We do not charge for additional drivers.
AFTER HOURS
You may pick-up or drop-off your vehicle at the airport or any
hotel in Santiago at any time, day or night. Pick-up and
drop-off at no charge from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through
Friday. Pick up or drop-off outside these hours and on
Saturdays, Sundays or holidays is subject to an additional
charge of CLP 6,300 plus tax. Pick up or drop-off between the
hours of 10:00 pm and 7:59 am is subject to an additional charge
of CLP 25,000 plus tax. Off hour pick-ups or drop-offs must be
arranged at least 24 hours in advance. (CLP=Chilean Pesos)
AIRPORT PICK-UP
For airport pick-up we will send an agent to meet you at the
exit from customs. (Please turn RIGHT after exiting customs.)
Our agent will be holding up a sign with your name. To
facilitate this process, please include your airline and flight
number when placing your reservation. There is an airport
pick-up fee of CLP 3,000 plus tax. (CLP=Chilean Pesos)
BUSINESS HOURS
Office hours are 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. On
Saturday, Sunday and holidays our office is open from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm.
CANCELLATIONS
We request our customers to advise us at least 72 hours in
advance in case of cancellations. No-shows are charged 1 day
rental at our daily rate plus a CLP 10.000 service charge if the
vehicle has been dispatched to the airport. Payment for permits
and insurance for Argentina cannot be reimbursed.
DEBIT CARDS
Debit cards are not accepted for rental guarantee purposes. They
may be used to pay rental charges.
DRIVER'S
LICENSE
You may use a valid local drivers license. An international
permit is not required.
EMERGENCY INFO
Our vehicles are covered by 24 x 7 roadside assistance
throughout Chile.
EXCHANGE RATES
Dollar amounts shown are approximate and for reference only. All
charges are made in Chilean pesos, therefore, actual dollar
amounts will depend on the rate of exchange at the time of
payment.
GEOGRAPHIC
RESTRICTIONS
Vehicles may be taken to Argentina with the purchase of permits
and additional insurance. This service must be booked at least 7
days in advance of vehicle pick-up. Renter must inform the
number of permits for border crossings desired on booking.
Prices: permits and insurance for 30 days CLP 90,000 plus tax;
permits and insurance for 31 to 180 days CLP 120,000 plus tax.
Vehicles may NOT be taken to Peru nor Bolivia. (CLP=Chilean
Pesos)
HOLIDAY
Our holiday hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
INSURANCE
Standard insurance is mandatory at CLP 6,000 per day plus tax,
and covers damage to, or theft of, the rental vehicle with a
deductible of CLP 400,000 (approx. $860 USD). For rentals of 7
or more days, the deductible may be reduced to CLP 119.000
(approx. $200 USD) by paying a reduced deductible supplement
(RDS) of CLP 2,200 per day plus tax. Standard insurance covers
damage to third parties up to CLP 10 million (approx. $21,000 USD). Third party liability coverage can be increased to CLP 100
million (approx. $210,000 USD) by contracting supplemental
liability protection at CLP 1,400 per day plus tax. (CLP=Chilean
Pesos)
MAKES AND MODELS
The indicated makes and models are subject to
availability at the moment of delivery. Therefore, our company
reserves the right to make substitutions for vehicles of similar
characteristics without prior notice.
NO-SHOWS
No-shows are charged 1 day rental at our daily rate plus a CLP
10,000 service charge if the vehicle has been dispatched to the
airport. Payment for permits and insurance for Argentina cannot
be reimbursed.
ONE-WAY RENTALS
One way rentals are possible up to a maximum of 625 miles (1,000
kilometers) from Santiago within Chilean territory. Additional
charges and minimum rental requirements apply depending on the
distance from Santiago: up to 150 Km CLP 25,500 minimum rental 3
days; from 151 to 300 Km CLP 47,700 minimum rental 7 days; from
301 to 500 Km CLP 79,500 minimum rental 7 days; from 501 to 700
CLP 103,400 minimum rental 14 days; from 701 to 1,000 Km CLP
164,300 minimum rental 14 days. All charges plus tax.

PAYMENT
CONDITIONS
Payment is due on vehicle pick-up. In addition, the credit card
must have an available balance equivalent to 860 USD as a
guarantee. The guarantee is not charged, but must be authorized.
RENTAL
EXTENSIONS
Rental extensions must be authorized at least 72 hours in
advance. During high season, rental extensions may be refused.
RENTER
REQUIREMENTS
The renter must be 23+ years old, show a valid driver's license,
passport, and major credit card with an available balance
equivalent to the total rental plus USD 860 as a guarantee (not
charged but must be authorized).
SANTIAGO
EXPRESSWAY TOLLS
Automatic expressway tolls (TAG or Televia) within Santiago are
included in our prices.
